We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the early learning experiences of children within a nursery setting. Your skills and ability to communicate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive environment where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a genuine drive to support children's growth and development.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that the needs of each child are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices in early years education.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and early years frameworks is desirable.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent/guardians and visitors.
- You will need to have a Level 3 / SCQF 7 Early Years Qualification.
