Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants
- Conduct routine inspections of properties
- Identify and report major repair needs
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with property improvements and refurbishments as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general property maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools (advantageous but not essential)
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
