We have an exciting opportunity to join a happy nursery that focuses on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. As an apprentice you will be working with team in a caring, family friendly, characterful, and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents, and staff.
Nursery Apprentices will support the nursery team in operation of the nursery facilities, to ensure a high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered. To adhere to our nursery policies and procedures and meet requirements and following education curriculum.
To assist the staff team to create a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.
Promoting high standards of childcare for the successful achievement of the intellectual, emotional and social development of each child
Assisting individual needs in order to optimise progress and development
Carrying out effective and thorough daily programmes drawn up for each age related activity
Ensuring rooms, toys and equipment are kept clean and in a safe condition and any maintenance needs or equipment breakages are reported
As a part of commitment to safety and hygiene of the children, ensure room is cleaned thoroughly each week, including disinfecting walls and paintwork once a month. Stains occurring from spillage should be cleaning immediately with an appropriate carpet cleaner
