Fabricator / Welder (Contract) – Outside IR35
Location: South Kirkby, West Yorkshire
Rate: £25.00 per hour (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6–8 Week Contract (Potential for extension)
ADE Power Ltd is looking for experienced Fabricator/Welders to support a busy production period at our manufacturing facility in South Kirkby.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled contractors looking for an immediate start on a well-paid, outside IR35 contract.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering 2D & 3D drawings.
- Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines.
- Fabricate and weld components to engineering drawings.
- Assemble and construct high-quality metal products.
- Grind and finish completed fabrications.
- Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
- Complete quality documentation.
- Work safely and comply with all site Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder.
- Experience working with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet (0.9mm–30mm).
- Experience fabricating mild steel sections from 2mm–10mm.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- High standard of MIG welding and fabrication.
- Experience operating an overhead crane is advantageous.
- Welding qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
- Own basic hand tools preferred.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Choose from:
Days
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
or
Afternoons
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 12:30am
Contract Details
- £25.00 per hour (LTD)
- Outside IR35.
- Weekly payments.
- Immediate starts available.
- 6–8 week contract.
- Potential extension for the right contractors.
- PPE required.
Applicants will be required to complete a fabrication and weld test before commencing work to demonstrate competency.
