Recovery Keyworker
Location: Southsea/ Portsmouth
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Keyworker to join our team in Portsmouth. You will provide support to clients living across 16 Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), helping approximately 79 individuals on their recovery journey.
Working closely with clients, partners, and local services, you will deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and sustainable recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of clients across multiple HMO properties.
- Develop and review support and recovery plans.
- Conduct regular wellbeing and welfare checks.
- Support clients to access healthcare, housing, employment, training, and community services.
- Work collaboratively with local drug and alcohol treatment services and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and case notes.
Encourage positive engagement and promote independence.
About You
We are looking for a team player who:
- Has experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals in recovery.
- Possesses knowledge of local drug and alcohol services within Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can manage their workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Essential Requirements
- Strong understanding of recovery-focused support.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to build positive professional relationships with clients and partner agencies.
Desirable
- Previous experience within housing, homelessness, substance misuse, or supported living services.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
