As a
Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical knowledge to assess how health conditions affect a person's daily living, producing clear, evidence-based reports that support fair and informed decision-making.
No previous assessor experience is required – full training is provided.

What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting telephone, video and face-to-face assessments
- Reviewing medical evidence
- Assessing how health conditions impact daily living and functional ability
- Producing accurate, evidence-based reports
- Using your clinical judgement in a structured environment
- Delivering a professional and compassionate assessment experience
This is an analytical, report-focused role, ideal for clinicians who enjoy critical thinking, communication and evidence-based decision-making.
What We're Looking For You'll need:
- Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
- A minimum of 12 months' post-registration clinical experience
- Adult clinical experience
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Good IT skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
