Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director in a dynamic professional environment. This role involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently
- Handle correspondence including emails, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organised records
- Assist with organising company events, meetings, and conferences
- Manage incoming enquiries and direct them appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Support general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies
- Utilise QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and expense management
- Ensure all administrative processes are completed in a timely manner with high accuracy
Skills
- Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good typing speed to facilitate efficient document preparation
- Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is vital
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly
This role requires a dedicated individual who can work independently while supporting the Managing Director’s busy schedule. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: £24,420.00-£36,000.00 per year
