Location: Broadway Market, London
Hours: Sundays, 9:00am – approximately 5:30pm
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
I’m looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join my independent clothing business at Broadway Market.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for presentation, and is happy working in a busy outdoor market environment. There is also the possibility of a job share, so if you’re not available every Sunday, I’d still love to hear from you.
The role includes:
- Unloading stock from our nearby lock-up and setting up the stall.
- Merchandising clothing in an attractive and organised way.
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with sales and processing payments.
- Keeping the stall tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
- Packing down the stall at the end of the day and returning stock to storage.
- Manual handling, including lifting and moving boxes of clothing during set-up and pack-down.
I’m looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Is confident speaking with customers.
- Has a positive attitude and is happy working independently.
- Takes pride in creating an attractive, well-presented display and has an appreciation for fashion and styling.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Previous retail or market experience is helpful but not essential.
