We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operation at our 5-star holiday park. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the park, accommodation, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, welcoming, and exceptional environment for our guests and owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day maintenance operations across the park.
- Plan, prioritise, and oversee both reactive and planned maintenance programmes.
- Manage, support, and motivate the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, landscaping, litter picking, and the upkeep of all outdoor areas.
- Ensure caravans, lodges, and park facilities are maintained, repaired, and presented to the highest standard.
- Coordinate the preparation of accommodation and pitches for guest arrivals.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency repairs, minimising disruption to guests.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, carrying out regular inspections and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, manage stock levels, and liaise with contractors and suppliers where required.
- Work closely with other department managers to ensure the park remains safe, clean, attractive, and operating efficiently at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role.
- Strong practical skills with experience across general maintenance, grounds maintenance, and property or caravan repairs.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects effectively.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional standards.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
