We're looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Content & Social Media Assistant to help tell the story of three luxury fashion brands.
Based in our beautiful Macclesfield boutique, you'll become part of a close knit team, creating engaging content, spotting new trends and helping showcase some of life's biggest moments across Maria Modes, Cheshire Menswear and Cheshire Occasionwear.
This isn't a traditional marketing role.
We're not looking for someone to create complex marketing strategies or manage large advertising budgets.
Instead, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating engaging content, editing videos, spotting trends and helping our businesses continue to grow their online presence.

About Us
For over 25 years, Maria Modes has been helping brides find their dream dress and has become one of Cheshire's leading independent bridal boutiques.
Alongside Maria Modes, we also operate Cheshire Menswear and Cheshire Occasionwear, creating a unique destination where customers can find everything they need for life's biggest celebrations.
Social media plays a huge part in our business. Every week we create content through new collections arriving, real weddings, appointments, fittings and behind the scenes moments. We're looking for someone to take ownership of bringing all of that content together and sharing it with our audience.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role will include:
- Editing Instagram Reels and short form video content.
- Creating engaging Stories, posts and social media content.
- Scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Following social media trends and bringing fresh ideas to the team.
- Writing engaging captions.
- Updating our websites with new products and imagery.
- Creating simple graphics using Canva.
- Assisting with email marketing.
- Organising our growing library of photos and videos.
- Capturing content in store when opportunities arise.
- Monitoring social media performance and helping grow our online presence.
As you'll be based in store, you'll also become part of our wider team, occasionally helping by:
- Answering telephone calls.
- Responding to customer emails.
- Greeting customers.
- Helping with general administration.
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods.
About You
We're much more interested in attitude, creativity and organisation than years of marketing experience.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience editing short form video (CapCut or similar).
- Experience using Canva.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- A great eye for engaging content.
- A genuine interest in social media trends.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confidence working independently.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
Experience within bridal, fashion or retail would be an advantage but isn't essential.
