Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with warehouse operations, including inventory management and heavy lifting, as well as safely delivering goods to various locations. Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing stock within the warehouse to maintain efficient inventory flow
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Support warehouse operations by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to proper manual handling procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory movements
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, including inventory management and stock handling
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions accurately
