Rebound Care & Support is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and energetic Female Support Workers to support a vibrant young girl with a visual impairment to live life to the fullest.
Our client lives in Luton, and you will be working on 1:1 basis. Our client is an active and outgoing young girl who has a passion for theatre, singing, music, and social activities. We are looking for support workers who can match her enthusiasm, encourage her independence, and enjoy accompanying her to activities and events. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance her independence, daily structure, respecting boundaries, wellbeing and community engagement.
You will provide person-centred support, helping our client maintain an active lifestyle while promoting choice, dignity, confidence, and independence.
Due to the client needs we are seeking for females only, who can drive and have access to their own vehicle, as our client enjoys access to the community.
Hours:
School Term:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays ( 7.00am - 8.30am)
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays ( 3.00pm -9.00pm)
School holidays:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (9.00am - 6.00pm)
Pay
£17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Supporting the client with her morning routine and accompanying her to and from school.
- Supporting access to theatre performances, concerts, and community events.
- Assisting with social activities, appointments, and leisure pursuits.
- Providing guidance and support when accessing the community.
- Encouraging independence and helping achieve personal goals.
- Supporting with daily living tasks where required.
- Maintaining accurate records and communication with the wider support team.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
We are looking for someone, who has a positive, energetic, and friendly personality.Enjoys music, theatre, and social activities.Is reliable, compassionate, and person-centred in their approach.Can build a positive professional relationship while maintaining appropriate boundaries.Has excellent communication skills.Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (preferred).
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
