Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems smoothly
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service laws, including responsible serving practices
- Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and beverages are available during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent serving skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in customer service roles that involve engaging with diverse groups of people
