Warehouse Operative
It's a busy time for us in our Distribution Warehouse in Park Farm, Folkestone and we are looking for a new Warehouse Operative to join our team! This role is highly active; you'll be required to lift boxes into storage locations; pick stock and help unload distribution containers and lorries.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment and using a hand-held RF picking gun is desired, but not essential.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy to ensure our trade, direct-to-consumer, and compliance orders are picked and labelled perfectly.
- Stamina: Willing and physically able to walk around 25,000 steps per day across our warehouse floor.
- Attitude: A friendly, positive, and approachable disposition, with the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Safety First: A proactive awareness and responsible stance toward maintaining Health and Safety protocols.
- Flexibility: Complete reliability and full availability to work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week between Mondays and Saturdays (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
What you'll be doing:
- Working collaboratively in a friendly team to accurately locate and pick items using a hand-held picking gun.
- Learning how to pack items carefully so they arrive to our customers in perfect condition, as well as handling specialized labelling for compliance orders.
- Scaling to Demand: Meeting daily dispatch targets
- Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Collaborating across different warehouse sectors (including trade, Amazon 3P, and goods in) to lift stock and help unload shipping containers.
