A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bristol is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team from September.
This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional support, helping them to grow in confidence, engage in learning and achieve their full potential.
Your Role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you'll:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils who require additional learning or pastoral support
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), adapting your approach to meet individual needs
- Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence and resilience
- Work alongside teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Help pupils overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Assist with classroom activities, interventions and preparation of learning resources
- Become an active member of the wider school community through enrichment activities and school events

- Excellent communicators with a proactive and positive attitude
- Keen to gain hands-on experience within an educational setting
- Considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, SEND, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy or wider education
No previous school experience is required—just the right attitude and a genuine desire to support young people.
