Pest Control Technician
Location: North London & Home Counties (North/Central London, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire)
Salary: From £31,000 per annum + Benefits

The Role
As a Pest Control Technician, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial customers across North and Central London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas, delivering Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services to businesses operating in highly regulated food manufacturing environments.
You'll carry out detailed inspections, implement effective pest management programmes, provide expert technical advice, and help customers maintain the highest standards of compliance and food safety.
With flexibility around your location and the support of our experienced technical team, you'll have everything you need to deliver outstanding service.
- Deliver planned pest control inspections and treatments across commercial food manufacturing sites.
- Identify pest activity, investigate root causes, and recommend long-term prevention strategies.
- Produce detailed digital service reports and technical recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with customers by delivering professional, proactive service.
- Work closely with Technical Officers, Field Biologists, and Area Managers to resolve complex pest issues.
- Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, compliance, and professionalism.
- Support customers in maintaining industry and audit standards through effective Integrated Pest Management.
What We're Looking For

Essential:
- Minimum one year's pest control experience.
- RSPH Level 2 Award/Certificate (or BPCA equivalent) in Pest Management.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Professional, organised, and self-motivated approach.
