Role Description
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to join our team in Rotherham. The role involves sorting and handling uPVC materials, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting with collections and deliveries, operating yard equipment, and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment. You will work closely with drivers and other team members to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the yard.
Requirements
Experience operating material handlers with grab attachments.
Forklift licence and/or experience driving a forklift.
Ability to operate a weighbridge and complete accurate paperwork.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Experience within a recycling preferred.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
