Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within home care settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to residents' needs, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to enhancing the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times
- Support individuals in accordance with personalised care plans, tailoring assistance to meet their specific needs
- Must have a clear DBS check
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support with light domestic tasks within the care environment, including cleaning and organising personal spaces
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience and understanding towards residents’ needs
- Ability to work as part of a team whilst also demonstrating independence when required
Pay: £13.00 per hour
