We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Sous Chef to join our growing family of pubs.
We currently operate two thriving, successful pubs and have recently taken on an exciting new venue with huge potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us at the beginning of its next chapter and play a key role in transforming it into one of the area's favourite destinations.
The pub has seating for up to 100 guests along with a large outdoor space, and a strong reputation within the local community. While it has had a difficult few years, we're investing heavily in bringing it back to life—and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

The Role
Working alongside our Executive Chef and management team, you'll play a key role in establishing the kitchen as we begin this exciting new chapter.
During the early stages, our Executive Chef will be hands-on, overseeing the kitchen and working closely with you to maintain exceptional food standards, develop the team and help build a successful operation. This provides a fantastic opportunity to learn, collaborate and help shape the future of the business from day one.
As the pub grows and the kitchen becomes established, there will be genuine opportunities for progression. For the right person, this role has the potential to develop into a Head Chef position, giving you the chance to lead your own kitchen within our growing pub group.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Leading the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Preparing and delivering consistently high-quality food.
- Helping train, develop and motivate the kitchen team.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising waste.
- Contributing ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
- Working closely with the wider management team to help grow the business.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
- A genuine passion for fresh food and great hospitality.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A calm, positive attitude in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Excellent standards of cleanliness and food safety.
