We are a reputable and well-established roofing company based in South Wales is seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver / Labourer to join our growing team.
This is a varied and active role that will support our roofing teams across South Wales, including areas from West Wales to Cardiff and the Valleys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading roofing materials and equipment
- Driving company vehicles (up to 3 tonne)
- Deliveries and offloading materials to site
- Collection and disposal of site waste and rubbish
- Assisting roofing teams with general labouring duties
- Maintaining yard cleanliness and organisation
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times, ensuring your own safety and that of others
Requirements:
- Minimum age 21 (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience driving 3 tonne vehicles preferred
- Good knowledge of the local South Wales area
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and in good health (this is an active role involving manual handling)
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
