Customer Service Associate
Location: Market Deeping, Peterborough (Office Based)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)
Hours: Monday to Friday
Choose either:
· 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch), or
· 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Salary: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable, depending on experience)

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our busy Customer Services team based at our Market Deeping office.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be helping customers across a variety of channels, including:
· Responding to customer emails efficiently and professionally across all our brands.
· Handling enquiries through social media platforms.
· Supporting customers across marketplace channels such as Amazon, Ebay, B&Q, Tesco, TikTok etc
· Processing refunds, replacements and goodwill gestures.
· Processing mail orders into the system.
· Amending customer orders where required.
· Providing helpful plant care and gardening advice.
· Resolving customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
· Working closely with colleagues across Customer Services, Warehouse, Buying and Operations to deliver the best possible customer experience.
· Using customer service systems including Freshdesk, AMO, Mirakl and Microsoft Office.
· Other CS related tasks.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes ownership of customer enquiries from start to finish.
You’ll ideally have:
· Previous customer service experience with a strong focus on emails rather than calls (essential).
· Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
· A positive, friendly and professional approach.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
· Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
· A team-focused attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
Whilst not essential, an interest in gardening, plants or horticulture would be a real advantage.
