Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles van , ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload goods accurately and efficiently for delivery to various locations
- Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in top condition and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures, cargo handling, and vehicle operation
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving background
- Familiarity Vans operations and securing loads effectively
- Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to plan efficient routes
- Prior experience with delivery driver responsibilities such as loading/unloading parcels and customer interactions
