Mobility Your Way is recruiting for a full time Mobility Engineer (sales) to do just that. This is a field-based role meaning you may have more than one domicile place of work throughout a regional area. You will be part of a team that is focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing great products and aftercare to our customers. You will need to be compassionate, motivated and driven. You and your colleagues will directly impact on the success of the showroom.
What will be your responsibilities?
· You will conduct engineering work on a range of Mobility Products (primarily at our customer’s homes) including:
- Product servicing – completing annual product check-ups, identifying issues and relaying them back to your customer
- Fault finding – finding the root cause of a problem and offering solutions to your customer
- Parts replacement – conducting repairs to keep our customers mobile
· You will conduct external assessments for products such as stairlifts with support from your showroom(s)
· You will take responsibility for your work/jobs ensuring they are correctly billed and recorded electronically
· You will take responsibility for your workshop and vehicle ensuring it is tidy and tools are accounted for and operational
· You will assist your showroom(s) with deliveries when required as well as covering for your showroom(s) when colleagues are ill or on holiday – you will be required to learn all showroom duties
· Serving customers, providing them with excellent customer service and ensuring their wants and needs are met
· Help customers and colleagues find the best product for their specific requirements
· Ensure high standards of customer care, cleanliness, presentation and quality of work are being maintained
What do we need from you?
· Excellent communication skills – you’ll be talking to colleagues and customers all day and you need to be a confident communicator in order to deliver instructions or advice correctly
· A keen eye for detail – we are all about high standards and you will need to correct errors and discrepancies and prevent them from happening again
· Customer orientated – our customers are at the heart of what we do and it is vital you are an individual who can appreciate a customer’s complex needs and be patient with them
· Great administrative and organisational skills – you will be booking appointments, placing customer orders and more – an organised mind is great for this role
· Sales-orientated – we set our showrooms targets and monitor KPIs which you must be able to analyse and drive yourself to achieve
· You must be computer literate in order to perform this role
· Full manual UK driving license
· Frequent heavy lifting and manual handling is required in this role
· A vehicle, training, uniform and tools provided.
What does Mobility Your Way offer?
· Starting salary of £32,500.00 per annum, rising to £35,000.00 after passing our probation period successfully, and then raising to £37,500.00 after 15 months of service, with a discretionary bonus scheme
· Full time hours– 40 hours per week which could include weekend work and bank holidays if required
· 33 days annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays)
