Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients with precision, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods, including traditional ovens and specialized equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in meal preparation for dine-in and takeout orders, ensuring timely delivery of each dish
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to management
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety
- Support the team during busy hours by serving customers and managing order flow efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and general meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
