Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Fulfilment Manager to oversee our logistics and fulfilment operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and optimising shipping and receiving activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems, and a focus on continuous process improvement to support business growth. The Fulfilment Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless coordination between various departments.
Duties
- Oversee daily fulfilment operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and warehouse activities.
- Supervise fulfilment team and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Monitor profit & loss statements related to fulfilment activities and implement strategies for process improvement.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in warehouse processes, including layout optimisation and workflow enhancements.
- Utilise forklift equipment safely for material handling and stock organisation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across logistics operations.
- Analyse data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the supply chain and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the print room, sales and other internal teams to meet organisational targets.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, including shipping & receiving, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
- Strong understanding of profit & loss management related to fulfilment activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives within fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in the use of forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment.
- Prior experience in logistics or supply chain roles within a fast paced printing, manufacturing or distribution setting is highly desirable.
