Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented subcontractor Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various tiling surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help create beautiful, durable finishes that meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install tiles using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate tile placement
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar
- Execute construction painting tasks as needed to ensure seamless finishes around tiled areas
- Use carpentry skills to modify or prepare framing and support structures for tiling projects
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and specifications
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and tile cutters
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Experience in construction painting and carpentry is a plus
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various environments
