Excavator Operator –
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Scaffold Mat Gang Excavator Operator in Sittingbourne to work on sites across Hailsham. You will be responsible for completing internal drainage works to a high standard, ensuring all installations are compliant, tested, and ready for handover.

Key Responsibilities
Operating an excavator as part of a scaffold mat gang, supporting the safe placement and removal of mats
Assisting with ground preparation and levelling to ensure stable working platforms
Reading and working from site plans and instructions to position mats accurately
Ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards
Conducting daily machine checks and carrying out basic maintenance
Maintaining clean and safe working areas at all times
Working safely around other trades and following all health & safety procedures
Reporting any defects, issues, or variations to site management
Requirements
Valid CSCS card
Proven experience in internal drainage and finishing works
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a gang
Good understanding of health & safety requirements on site
Right to work in the UK
