Childcare Assistant, a flexible 38 hours across 4/5 days. Start time 07.30-08.30.

The role is wide-ranging and covers:
· Quality childcare where you’ll plan and take part in play-based activities to stimulate all aspects of development. Ensuring that safeguarding always stays within the guidelines driven by the right behaviours and actions. Supervising and encouraging healthy eating and refreshments.
· Learning and development where you’ll work on the seven areas of learning and recognised educational programmes, whilst recognising the individual needs and stages of each child.
· Assessments through observation and recording in conjunction with EYFS profiles.
· Health & Safety where you will carry out regular risk assessments, including indoor and outdoor spaces, equipment and the highest food hygiene standards.
· Overall standards of the premises which includes vacuuming, cleaning, washing up and sanitising of toys and equipment.
We’re looking for previous childcare experience where you have shown excellent communication and listening skills to both children and parents alike. You’ll bring Certificates in both Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene and be willing to undertake further development and qualifications to NVQ Levels 2 and 3.
Strong flexibility and adaptability are vital, with the ability to remain calm and objective under changing circumstances. You’ll have a full UK driving licence, your own transport and be prepared to work from either our Haddenham or Dinton sites when required.
