Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff at our lively bar located in the heart of Leeds City Centre. This role involves both floor and bar work, offering a dynamic and varied experience in a fast-paced environment. We have 8-10 hours per week available inclusive of weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Bar Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and soft drinks.
- Floor Service: Take and deliver orders to customers, clear tables, and ensure the bar area is clean and well-maintained.
- Customer Interaction: Provide a friendly, welcoming experience for all guests, answer any questions about our offerings, and handle customer queries efficiently.
- Cash Handling: Operate the till, process payments, and ensure accurate transactions.
- Stock Management: Assist in restocking the bar and floor area with supplies, ensuring all areas are well-stocked during busy periods.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including those related to serving alcohol responsibly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in bar or floor service is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Availability: Availability to work consistently throughout the summer and holidays, including evening, weekends and bank holidays.
- Understanding of food safety or licensing laws is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to stay calm and efficient during peak hours.
