Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Yard Foreman to lead and manage daily operations within our outdoor/indoor scaffolding yard. This role will involve the organisation, care and upkeep of scaffold materials. As a Yard Foreman, you will need to meet safety requirements in the yard space, ensure it is clean and tidy whilst maintaining good access to all materials.
Duties
- Store, maintain and manage scaffold materials
- Coordinate loading and unloading of HGV vehicles
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the yard.
- Track stock
- Painting and branding of scaffold materials.
- Reduction of wasting by recycling and re-sizing of materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and materials handling
- Conduct regular inspections of yard facilities, equipment maintenance checks, and safety audits
Requirments
- Reliability is a must - 5 days a week is minimum requirement.
- Flexible working hours - Can be tailored to suit both parties.
- Timekeeping must be good.
- Driving license - must have.
- Counterbalance forklift ticket - Preferable
- Physically able - Manual handling will be a daily occurrence.
Pay: £25,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
