Finance Assistant
We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly team in Montrose. If you’re organised, great with numbers, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll do
- Process purchase and sales ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash, employee expenses, and credit cards.
- Handle credit control and resolve supplier/customer queries.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
- Use your Sage 200 experience to keep everything on track.
What we’re looking for
- Previous finance/accounts experience.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Experience with Sage 200 software is a big plus.
The details
- Office-based in Montrose
- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Qualifications
- A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English; further finance or accounting qualifications are desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good numerical ability and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
