Job Summary
We are looking for a new HR & Payroll Manager to join our team, based out of our head office in Scorrier, Cornwall.
This is an incredible opportunity to become the heart of the business, and work with a rapidly growing team in the southwest, with one of the largest groundworks contractors in the area.
You should be detail-oriented, with experience in HR Management and Payroll, especially working in a large company.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring effective communication, administration and management within the department. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources processes, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Processing monthly payroll
- Supervising weekly payroll
- Supervising training coordinator
- All day-to-day HR tasks
- Ensuring compliance with employment and payroll legislation
Skills
- Strong understanding of human resources principles and practices
- Strong understanding and comprehension of payroll
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
- High level of accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
