Frankie + Lola’s is looking for experienced Café & Venue Team Members to join our Inverness team.
This is a varied customer facing role for someone who is comfortable working across our café, coffee service, food operation, reception and wider venue.
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous hospitality experience who are confident using commercial coffee machines, handling food and delivering excellent customer service.
Every day is different at Frankie + Lola’s! Depending on the needs of the venue, you could be preparing coffees in the morning, supporting café service over lunch and welcoming families at reception later in the day.
What you’ll be doing
Café & coffee
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks using commercial coffee equipment.
- Delivering friendly and efficient café service.
- Operating tills and EPOS systems accurately.
- Supporting food preparation and kitchen service when required.
- Maintaining clean, organised and well stocked café areas.
- Helping maximise café sales through excellent product knowledge and customer service.
Front of house
- Welcoming families into Frankie + Lola’s.
- Processing admissions and bookings.
- Helping customers with enquiries.
- Supporting birthday parties and events.
- Creating a friendly and energetic atmosphere throughout the venue.
- Resolving straightforward customer issues professionally and escalating when necessary.
Operational standards
- Supporting opening, closing and daily venue routines.
- Maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Supporting stock checks, deliveries and replenishment.
- Following food hygiene, allergen, Health & Safety and company procedures.
- Working flexibly across the venue when additional support is required.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for people who are confident, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous café, restaurant, hospitality or customer service experience.
- Experience using a commercial coffee machine.
- Experience working with or preparing food.
- Confidence operating tills EPOS systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work across several areas rather than being restricted to one role.
- A proactive attitude, if you see something that needs doing, you’re comfortable taking ownership.
- Availability to work weekends and during school holidays.
