Licensed Security Officer
Job Description
Gryphon Safety and Security is currently seeking an SIA licensed Security Officer to join our team covering assignments across Leicester. This will be assisting with client requests at venues/festivals etc
This role is suited to individuals who are professional, dependable and committed to delivering high standards of security and customer service. Successful applicants will undertake a variety of security duties while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and visible security presence.
- Control access to designated areas and carry out checks where required.
- Respond to incidents and report them appropriately.
- Assist visitors, staff and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complete incident reports and associated documentation accurately.
- Follow company procedures and site instructions.
- Work effectively as part of a wider security team.
- Maintain high standards of conduct, appearance and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or within a team.
- Eligible to complete BS7858 screening.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a licensed security role.
- Good understanding of conflict management.
- Experience producing written incident reports.
