Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible
- Follow personalised care plans to meet each client's specific needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
- Utilise IT systems to update care records and document relevant information
- Drive between different care settings or client homes as required (driving licence preferred)
- Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for clients
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and professionally
