Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
Learn to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Support the installation of different types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise placement and alignment of flooring components.
Participate in construction painting tasks to prepare surfaces for flooring installation.
Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Receive guidance from experienced contractors on measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing techniques.
Requirements
A keen interest in construction, carpentry, or flooring trades with a desire to learn new skills.
Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity to handle precise tasks.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn technical skills such as reading schematics and understanding construction plans.
