Summary
We are seeking a passionate and organised Head of Events to lead our events team at The Old Hall Ely. This role is vital in ensuring our guests experience unforgettable weddings and events while aligning with our values of excellence and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring seamless delivery from start to finish.
- Lead and motivate the events team to achieve high standards of service.
- Develop strategies for upselling services to maximize revenue.

- Ordering
- Coordinate the restaurant and hotel and liaise with the kitchen and housekeeping departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage client relationships, providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Plan and manage budgets for events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Continuously improve event offerings based on feedback and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in upselling and revenue enhancement.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including restaurant and hotel services.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
