Overview
We are seeking an experienced, Level 3-qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will help ensure that every child receives the best possible start in life by providing high-quality learning, development and care.
The practitioner will follow the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and consistently adhere to the nursery’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing, stimulating environment in which children can thrive, learn and develop.
- Support the planning and implementation of early childhood development programs aligned with best practices in early years education
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes children’s well-being and development
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play while ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed
- Promoting professional growth and teamwork
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare standards and safeguarding policies
Experience
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early years curriculum frameworks
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures relevant to childcare settings
