Working closely with the Group HR Manager and managers across the Group, you'll be trusted to provide practical, commercially focused HR support in a fast-paced and growing Company .

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a requirement to support multiple Williams sites across the North West.
This opportunity would suit an experienced HR Officer looking to take the next step into a HR Advisor role, or an existing HR Advisor looking to broaden their employee relations and project experience within a supportive and growing business.
Role Overview
This is a varied and hands-on HR role where no two days are the same.
You'll support managers across a range of employee relations matters, help maintain compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and contribute to HR projects aimed at improving employee experience.
Working with colleagues at all levels, you'll build strong relationships and provide practical, solution-focused HR support that helps managers and employees succeed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing advice and support on employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, long-term sickness, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Supporting managers to resolve people challenges confidently, fairly and consistently.
- Work closely with payroll teams to ensure absence records are accurate and up to date
- Assisting with investigations, meetings and HR documentation.
- Monitoring and reporting on employee relations and absence trends across the Group, providing insights and recommendations to support effective people management.
- Promoting a positive working environment through effective communication and relationship building.
- Assisting with the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Contributing to HR projects and people initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor role.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified, studying towards CIPD Level 5, or equivalent HR experience.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
- Confidence supporting managers and employees with a range of people matters.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites when required.
