Experienced Skilled Labourer Required
Domestic Renovations | Extensions | Structural Work
We are a family-run building company specialising in full house renovations, single-storey extensions, structural alterations and high-quality domestic building projects.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team.
This is not an entry-level labouring role. We're looking for someone who has solid experience working on domestic building sites, understands how projects run, and can work proactively alongside our tradesmen to keep jobs moving efficiently.
The Role
You will be involved in all aspects of our renovation and extension projects, including:
- Assisting with structural alterations and steel installations
- Demolition and strip-out works
- Site preparation and setting out
- Mixing materials and preparing work areas
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Keeping sites clean, organised and safe
- Assisting joiners, builders and bricklayers
- Basic carpentry, boarding and insulation where required
- Installing temporary protection
- General maintenance and snagging
- Driving between sites and collecting materials
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working on domestic building projects
- Good understanding of construction site practices
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and happy with manual work
- Able to work independently when required
- Willing to learn new skills and assist across all trades
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Who This Role Would Suit
This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond basic labouring and has developed good practical skills on site. You might have several years' experience assisting builders, joiners or bricklayers and be confident working without constant supervision.
We're looking for someone who can think ahead, anticipate what's needed next, and become a valued member of the team—not someone who simply waits to be told what to do.
