A note from Chris Lennon, Business Operations Manager
Hi, I’m Chris.
Thanks for taking the time to explore this opportunity, we really appreciate it. Before you dive into the details, I wanted to share a bit about who we are, what we stand for, and why this is a genuinely exciting time to join LKQ Electriq.
If you are a technician who thrives on technical challenges rather than repetitive servicing, you are in the right place. We are not a traditional workshop. You will not find MOTs, oil changes, or tyre replacements here. Instead, we operate a specialist EV facility dedicated to the internal repair of electric vehicle batteries and high-voltage systems.
Because our business is expanding rapidly, we are building a team for the long term, creating brand new roles rather than just filling gaps. What makes us different? We do not just swap parts. We execute precision component-level repairs that most of the industry has not even seen yet.
Since joining forces with LKQ in 2025, we have combined startup innovation with global scale and resources. We want talented people who are ready to move away from grease and oil, stepping straight into the clean, high-tech future of EV repair.
We value your expertise and your time. That is why we offer a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends and no rotas. You get complex, high-level technical work within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
If you are ready to trade the traditional workshop routine for the future of aftermarket repair, I would love to hear from you.
