Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
- Adhere to organisational standards for hygiene, safety, and presentation
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning services is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
