We’re looking for a friendly, energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our modern, purpose-built schools in Bournemouth supporting students with ASD / ADHD / Autism across Key Stages 1, 2, 3, 4.
Classes are small (8–10 students), so you’ll get the chance to work 1:1 and in small groups, helping students access learning, develop independence, and take part in fun, active activities – including Forest School and outdoor learning.
What you’ll do
- Support students individually or in groups so they can access the curriculum and feel confident in their learning
- Help with planning and preparing lessons
- Assist with personal care when needed, ensuring pupils feel safe and supported
- Keep the classroom safe, engaging, and well-resourced
- Observe pupils and share feedback with the teacher
- Help manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way
About you
- Experience supporting students with ASD / ADHD / Autism (school or personal experience welcome)
- Patient, flexible, and enthusiastic
- Confident working 1:1 or with small groups
- Active, creative, and happy to get involved in outdoor learning and practical activities
