Management Accountant – Basingstoke
In this role, you’ll look after the day-to-day accounting requirements for a portfolio of clients, producing management accounts and working closely with businesses to help them understand their numbers.

We’re working with a leading and fast-growing accountancy practice in Basingstoke that is looking to expand its Outsourcing team.
The firm has an excellent reputation for investing in its people, with plenty of opportunities to develop technically, take on more responsibility and progress into management longer-term.
The Role
This is a varied, client-facing position covering management accounts and outsourced finance work, including:
- Managing the day-to-day relationship with your own portfolio of clients
- Preparing management accounts and management information
- Bookkeeping, bank transactions, sales and purchase ledger work and journals
- Preparing basic statutory financial statements
- Understanding clients’ businesses and identifying where additional support could add value
- Helping clients with accounting systems and providing training where required
- Working closely with tax, payroll and other specialist teams
About You
Ideally, you’ll have 2+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience within outsourcing or management accounts and be part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or CCH would be beneficial, but you don't need to tick every box.
