Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations when appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions and process payments with precision, ensuring accuracy in all dealings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed to assist kitchen staff during busy periods
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and health regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service that exceeds guest expectations and fosters a lively atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant service, catering, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and best practices in food handling and hygiene
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
