GS Hydro UK Ltd are actively seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Distribution team based full time in the Bridge of Don office.
Purpose of the Role:
To deliver high-quality administrative support that ensures the smooth, efficient, and accurate daily operation of the Distribution Department.
Tasks include:
Stock Management: Allocating and dispatching stock.
Hose Assembly: Building and preparing BOM’s for immediate dispatch on ERP System.
Compliance: Generating and issuing official hose test certifications.
Data Administration: Matching, scanning, and filing multi-department records.
Customer Service: Updating clients on order progress and delivery timelines.
Supplier Liaison: Contacting vendors to expedite delayed or overdue orders.
Logistics: Arranging courier collections for customer orders.
Operational Support: Assisting with varied operational tasks as required.
Experience
Education: GCSE or equivalent (Essential).
Experience: Previous administration experience (Essential).
Software: Sage 200 experience preferred but not essential (Full training provided).
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Autonomy: Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload.
Teamwork: Collaborative approach and strong team player· Previous experience using Sage 200 would be highly beneficial, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
