Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative operations, supporting team management, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The Office Co-ordinator will utilise their experience in office administration, human resources, and supervisory tasks to facilitate a productive working environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Manage appointment scheduling, correspondence, and filing systems using programmes such as Microsoft applications and other relevant software
- Support human resources functions including onboarding, record keeping, and staff communication
- Handle phone enquiries with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing excellent customer service
- Assist in team management activities, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining organisational records
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication
- Maintain organised physical and digital filing systems for easy access to documents and records
- Support special projects related to office improvement or organisational development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with a minimum of two years’ experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other relevant office software
- Knowledge of human resources procedures and practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous experience in an administrative or office environment is essential
