Manager On Duty
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Supervise and support staff members across various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service throughout the bar.
- Coordinate with other managers to ensure proper staffing levels and coverage.
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.
- Manage financial transactions, including cash handling and billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with bar policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Respond to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar management or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff members.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping standards, and food production processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems for reservations,
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
