Department/Team: CCOG Data
Contract: Permanent
Base location: Salford – Dock House / London – Broadcasting House (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £57,470 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
We're happy to discuss flexible working. If you'd like to, please indicate your preference in the application – though there's no obligation to do so now. Flexible working will be part of the discussion at offer stage.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst – CRM & Lifecycle Analytics to lead analysis and experimentation across our CRM and lifecycle marketing activity. You’ll design robust tests, turn complex customer data into actionable insight, and help embed a test-and-learn culture that improves segmentation, contact strategy, retention and commercial impact. You’ll work closely with CRM, marketing, data engineering and data science colleagues to support confident, evidence-based decision-making.
WHY JOIN THE TEAM
We’re evolving how we use our owned audience data to drive growth and moving towards a highly data-driven, test-and-learn operating model. This role will have the opportunity to shape how we measure CRM and lifecycle activity, influence customer strategy and work across marketing, data and technology teams to turn analysis into measurable improvements in customer outcomes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead analysis across CRM and lifecycle marketing, from hypothesis and experiment design through to in-flight monitoring and post-campaign evaluation.
Design and analyse robust experiments, including A/B and multivariate tests, holdout and control groups, to measure the incremental impact of CRM and lifecycle activity.
Apply statistical techniques including significance testing, confidence intervals and regression to distinguish genuine effects from noise and provide reliable recommendations.
Translate complex customer and campaign datasets into actionable insight that informs segmentation, targeting, contact strategy and customer journey optimisation.
Build effective Tableau dashboards and measurement frameworks, partnering with CRM, marketing, data engineering and data science teams to identify opportunities and embed a strong test-and-learn culture.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
Senior analytics experience: Proven experience in a senior data or marketing analytics role, with strong experience analysing CRM, lifecycle, retention or customer marketing activity.
Experimentation and statistics: Demonstrable experience designing and analysing A/B or multivariate tests, control/holdout groups and applying statistical methods such as significance testing, confidence intervals and regression.
Technical analytical capability: Strong hands-on SQL skills together with proficiency in either Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
Data visualisation: Demonstrable experience creating dashboards and communicating analytical results using Tableau.
Insight and communication: Strong experience translating complex customer and campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations for CRM, marketing and non-technical stakeholders, including an understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle/customer journey analytics.
DESIRED
Experience measuring channel contribution or attribution across owned and paid media.
Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe.
Exposure to uplift modelling, propensity modelling or econometrics.
Experience working within agile, cross-functional marketing or growth teams.
If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
