Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support medical staff, and ensure the well-being of patients across our Nursing Home. This is a newly opening Nursing service with an experienced clinical team in an existing Care Home with 24 dedicated rooms on a separate floor. We aim to start operating in March 2026
12 Hour Shifts 07-30 - 19:30 and 19:30 - 07:30
We are recruiting for Night and Day Nurses
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
- Assess patient conditions accurately and document findings in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene standards and safety procedures to prevent infections and ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Keep detailed records of patient progress, treatments administered, and any changes in condition.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical, Nursing Home or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Demonstrated competence in medication administration, including injections, IV therapy, and oral medications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient support.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent professional body is essential. Pay: £19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
